Hey Sayser...your Dad's MRSA story is horrifying simply because it could have so easily been fatal. Sounds as though he had some alert, intelligent and creative doctors. I'm really, really glad to hear he has recovered!
Just for clarification, I was in San Francisco not Iraq when I was diagnosed with MRSA. It just happened on the first day of our invasion of Iraq and the doctors first thought I had smallpox which would have meant we were being attacked by bioterrorists.
